Product Detailed Description:

The TKC-PL Series is a 90° elbow one-touch push-in pneumatic fitting with a compact PBT resin body and male thread connection. Engineered as a direct functional replacement for PISCO PL, it delivers identical performance and connection compatibility at significantly lower cost. The right-angle design saves space in tight piping layouts, while patented double sealing with an O-ring at the tube insertion point provides leak-free connection from vacuum to 1 MPa.

Product Advantages

1. One-touch push-in — insert the tube and it locks instantly; no tools, no tape, no tightening.
2. Patented double sealing — extra O-ring at the tube insertion point prevents air leakage even when the tube surface is scratched or imperfect.
3. 90° space-saving design — right-angle direction change keeps piping neat and fits tight layouts.
4. Adjustable orientation — the threaded hex can be rotated before final tightening to aim the elbow in the required direction.
5. Wide pressure range — 0–1.0 MPa operating with vacuum support; proof pressure up to 1.5 MPa.
6. Full size range — tube Ø4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 mm; threads Rc 1/8" / 1/4" / 3/8" / 1/2" (G / NPT / M on request).
7. Compact PBT resin body — lightweight, corrosion-free and chemically resistant; brass thread insert versions available.
8. Easy release & reusable — press the release collar to disconnect; fitting can be reused many times.
9. PL-standard interchangeable — same dimensions as PISCO / Airtac PL-type fittings; drop-in replacement.
10. Factory direct OEM/ODM — low MOQ, fast lead time, custom marking and packaging.

Installation and Usage

Installation

1.Cut the tube square — use a tube cutter (not scissors or a knife). A square, burr-free end ensures a full seal.
2.Deburr and clean — remove any burrs or foreign matter from the tube end and outside surface.
3.Thread installation (male thread type) — wrap PTFE tape or apply thread sealant on the male thread, screw in by hand first.
4.Set the elbow direction BEFORE final tightening — hold the body and rotate the elbow to aim at your tube routing direction; then tighten moderately with a wrench on the hex. Do not over-tighten — it can deform the body or damage the O-ring.
5.Insert the tube — push the tube firmly and straight into the fitting until it bottoms out; you will feel or hear it lock. Give a light pull to confirm it is locked in place.

Disconnection

1. Press the release collar evenly toward the body, then pull the tube out with a slight twist.
2. Never pull the tube without pressing the release collar — this can damage the internal locking claws.
3. Do not force-rotate the elbow body after final tightening — this can damage the thread seal; loosen and re-set the direction instead.

FAQ

Q1.Can Nickel-Plated Brass One-touch fittings be used when the fluid is water?

A1.Yes, they can (but for industrial use only). The max. operating pressure is 1 MPa including the surge pressure. The operating temperature is 0 to 40°C (no freezing).

Q2.What is the tightening torque of the connection thread of One-touch fittings?

A2. For One-touch fittings with sealant (R: taper thread for piping, NPT: taper thread for U.S. piping) refer to below. For further details, refer to the “Specific Product Precautions” for each series.

Q3.Are there any metric size One-touch fittings with an NPT connection thread?

A3.Consider the use of a metric size uni One-touch fitting. The chamfered portion of the female thread is used as the seat surface, and the gasket is used for sealing. If using an inch-size tube and an Rc connection thread, inch size uni One-touch fittings are also available.

Q4. Are there any fittings that can withstand temperatures of up to 100°C?

A4. Stainless steel One-touch fittings can handle temperatures of up to 150°C. Depending on the conditions, an inner sleeve may need to be installed in the tube. In addition, stainless steel 316 fittings can be used in temperatures of up to 260°C. Note that there are limitations on the temperatures and operating fluids depending on the model (swivel elbow, etc.).

Q5.Can union elbow or male branch tee One-touch fittings be rotated on the body where the tube is inserted after tightening the connection thread?

A5.Yes, the orientation can be changed afterward. The bodies of union elbow or male branch tee One-touch fittings are press-fit into studs (sealed with O-rings) so they can be rotated for positioning. However, do not use the product in a manner in which the connected tube swings or rotates with respect to the fitting.

Q6.Which fitting do I need for my application?

A6. Tell us your tube O.D., port thread and routing direction. Example: Ø8 tube + Rc 1/4" port, right-angle routing → PL8-02. We will confirm the model within 24 hours.

Q7.How do I disconnect / maintain it?

A7. Press the release collar evenly and pull the tube out. No routine maintenance needed — keep the fitting clean and make sure the tube end is cut square and fully inserted.

Q8.What if the joint leaks?

A8.Check that the tube is cut square, free of burrs and pushed in fully. The double-seal design tolerates minor surface scratches; if leakage persists, replace the fitting or tube section.
