Product Detailed Description:

Our MKB Series Rotary Clamp Cylinder is engineered for heavy-duty industrial clamping tasks where space and reliability are critical. Upon activation, the piston rod rotates 90 Degree (Clockwise or Counterclockwise) before completing a linear clamping stroke to press the workpiece firmly. Featuring a robust aluminum alloy body and precision-ground internal components, the MKB ensures a non-rotation accuracy of up to ±0.7.With bore sizes ranging from 12mm to 63mm and clamping forces reaching 1400N, this series is a 1:1 high-quality interchangeable solution for standard international rotary clamp requirements.

Product Feature :

1. Dual-Action Motion: Seamlessly integrates 90 Degree rotation and linear clamping in a single compact unit.
2. Versatile Mounting (Type B): Features through-holes and screwing holes on both ends for flexible installation in various machine orientations.
3. High Non-Rotation Accuracy: Precision-machined guide grooves provide an accuracy of ±0.7∘to ±1.4∘,ensuring consistent clamping positions.
4. Magnetic Switch Ready: Integrated slots allow for easy mounting of proximity sensors to provide feedback for automated control systems.
5. Durable Seals & Finish: High-quality NBR seals and a hard-anodized body ensure a long service life and resistance to industrial wear.

1. Automotive Assembly Jigs:
The MKB series is widely used in automotive body-in-white and component assembly lines. Its ability to swing out of the way during loading and then rotate back to clamp the workpiece makes it perfect for high-speed robotic welding and assembly jigs.
2. Electronics & PCB Manufacturing:
In the production of consumer electronics, these cylinders provide precise, low-impact clamping for PCB testing fixtures and assembly modules. The smaller bore sizes (12mm-20mm) offer the delicate yet firm pressure needed for fragile electronic components.
3. Automated Woodworking & Furniture:
For CNC routing and edge-banding machinery, the MKB serves as an efficient "swing-away" clamp. It secures panels firmly during processing and rotates out of the path of the cutting tool, allowing for unobstructed machining of the workpiece edges.

Installation and Usage:

1. Speed Regulation: Always install flow control valves (meter-out) to regulate the speed within 50-200mm/s. High-speed impact can damage the rotation grooves.
2. Arm Installation: When mounting the clamp arm, ensure the piston rod is fully extended and use a wrench to hold the rod flats to prevent internal torque damage.
3. Avoid Side Loads: The cylinder is designed for axial clamping. Ensure the clamping arm is aligned and do not apply lateral force to the piston rod.
4. Air Quality: Use a 5-micron air filter to ensure the compressed air is free of moisture and debris to protect the internal seals and guide grooves.

FAQ

Q1. How do I calculate the clamping force I need?
A1. Clamping force depends on the bore size and operating pressure. For example, a 32mm bore at 0.5 MPa provides 300N of force.

Q2. Does the cylinder come with the clamp arm?
A2. The standard cylinder does not include the arm, but we offer compatible aluminum and steel arms as optional attachments.

Q3.Is lubrication required during use?
A3. The MKB is pre-lubricated and can operate without oil. However, once you start using a lubricator, you must continue to use it.

Q4. Can I mount magnetic sensors to this cylinder?
A4.Yes, it is compatible with standard D-M9 and D-A9 series sensors for position feedback.

Q5. What should I do if the rotation is not smooth?
A5.Ensure you are using a flow control valve to regulate the speed. Excessive speed (over 200mm/s) can cause erratic rotation.

Q6.Is it suitable for high-temperature environments?
A6.The standard operating temperature is up to 70∘C. For higher temperatures, we can provide customized Viton seals.

Q7. What is the delivery time ?
A7.Normal model 1-3days,because we have ability to do the stock. For big order,it takes about 10-15days.

Q8. What is the payment term?
A8.We accept T/T, L/C, WESTERN UNION.
